“ This restaurant is exactly what the area has been missing, and overall, it was an excellent experience. It’s a cozy spot, especially in the evening, though we visited for lunch. The menu names are a blend of Turkish and Iranian, like “Skinder Koobydeh,” but once you dive in, you'll find classic Persian dishes like Joojeh, Barg, and Koobideh. We tried all three, and they were absolutely delicious. They even had Sumagh to sprinkle on top, and the naan bead was hot and perfectly baked. The service was prompt and friendly. One small note: the portion of rice that comes with the dishes could be a bit larger, so I recommend ordering some naan bread to accompany your meal. And I believe there should be more advertising of the resurant and its Persian Chelokebab in the Uxbridge area for more people to know about. I live in the area but just by sheer luck I heared about it a few days ago from a friend. All in all, a fantastic addition to the area that we needed! ”

A warm and lovely evening sitting outside watching the river and listening to chilled music. Food was freshly cooked with wonderful flavour. The Mojito Mocktail followed by the Persian Tea at the end of the meal were the perfect accompaniment. Thank you Mali! ”

“ We came for something to eat early evening after my brother and his wife had arrived from the US. Lots of talking, catching up and preparing sadly for a family funeral service. Warm welcome, peaceful location of table and excellent attentive but not in your face service. Food delicious, meats expertly cooked, salads really fresh, and rice and flatbread just right. Persian tea on the house and extra treat. Prices reasonable. The Riverwalk is local to us and am ashamed I hadn't tried eating here before. It is definitely now one of our few chosen go tos. Very big thanks to Mali and her team for the warm welcome, food and caring service, especially appreciated by all of us in the circumstances. ”

“ My friend took me to this newly discovered place and I must say, I was so pleasantly surprised ! RIVERWALK CAFE/ HUKKA KHANA is such a fab find on a quiet road in Uxbridge. A traditional pub converted into a possibly UKs 1st NON ALCOHOLIC PUB / restaurant/ hukka spot. To start with, their staff is super friendly, instantly make you feel welcomed. Big shout out to our khan bhai TOWHID KHAN, he made us feel like home with his warm welcome and continuous smile also made us karak chai proper desi style! MALI is such a sweet lady, so warm, friendly and welcoming. Had a nice little chat with her and Mr. CHEF (forgot to ask his name) towards the end. Could this get any better? Yes ! Their persian inspired food is fantastic ! Coming from a Persian background myself, I can taste a good chalo kabab for sure ! So authentic that even the salad had that sour tangy lime kick to it. We also tried their passion fruit mojito which was divine. Not your boxstandard syrup stuff, genuinely enjoyed it. Sheehsa was great too. Lasted more than 2 hours and tasted nice too. They have a selection of board games, cards and such to go with your sheesha session. All in all we had a fantastic experience. So glad to have found this new place. Will def be visiting more often. ”
